Consumer Reports, a popular consumer ratings magazine, has published a free 30-page college guide called Find the Best Colleges for You: Focus on the Information that Matters. The guide is chock full of great information including ratings of several sources of information (print and online) on colleges.  There's also a nice list of additional resources and helpful worksheets.  Consumer Reports is promising an interactive version soon.
